Or spinal muscular atrophy. The event said dystrophy, but the drummer said atrophy, and my biochemist roommate told me atrophy is correct. Not the same as muscular dystrophy. I googled spinal muscular dystrophy to see if it was a thing, and most of the results I got were for spinal muscular atrophy, with 2 that actually said dystrophy. A bit confused. Oh well.

The Benjamins put on a great concert, as always.

You're a 22-year-old girl with a lot of stuff going on in her life. It's natural to be a bit confused. It's natural for you to be unsure a lot of the time. Believe me. Unfortunately, i meet a lot of girls your age and they all have similar problems. Don't beat yourself up for being normal. You're a smart and good person. Everything is going to be fine. You just need to give it time.

Now all I need is to recognize the feeling and stop chasing after empty things that don't satisfy me. Maybe if I were motivated enough I could turn it into a selfless life of love and service to others. But instead I mostly just keep to myself and try to find things that will make me happier.

Feeling perpetually lonely, dissatisfied, and out of place isn't necessarily a bad thing. At least you're in good company.

Hebrews 11:
These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

New favorite Sporcle quiz: name all of the songs off The Beatles' studio albums in 20 minutes. Epic. I've gotten 135 out of 192...approximately 70 percent. I know them all (except Yellow Submarine, which is not the same as the Yellow Submarine album that I own), it's just so hard to think of them all.

That's a very helpful comment- I wish I would have written this blog a day earlier. A travel/adventure issue would have been a great idea.

I originally thought about doing an outdoor issue, but I was worried that I was just trying to turn Esquire into Backpacker so I'd actually like it. I ended up doing an issue on energy. You can do a lot of different things with energy. I think it turned out all right, but I'm not in love with it.

Thanks for the idea. Sounds like you would be a better editor than me. Good thing I chose writing.

You need to think about what you have in common with men not what is different. How about an adventure issue? You could write stories about voyages around the world. Think Hemingway, shooting game in the safari, partying in Pamplona, climbing up mount kilimanjaro, or racing in Morocco. Men like to feel like they're pushing themselves and they like danger. Any exciting world traveling stuff you would like to do men would like to do as well.
